Denise Freisberg
My name is Denise Freisberg. Almost all of my life I have been in the water in one way or another. I have swam competitively in my younger years, participated in Masters swimming, completed both Ironman distances and raced open water swimming. Because of my background, bringing the joy of swimming to both children and adults through teaching has become a passion of mine. While the fun and social aspects of this activity are important to me, the safety of it will always be what brings me back is to bring this skill to others. I believe fully that everyone should know water safety as well as have the opportunity to enjoy water safely, as I know the joy this skill has brought to me, my family and my community.
I am the mother of two girls who grew up swimming and I have always felt peace of mind that my children were skilled in ISR lessons. I hope to help other children develop that same love for water that both my girls have , and give that same peace of mind to parents who are looking to ensure their children, too, are happy and confident in their water safety skills. I am so excited for this new chapter of my ISR journey serving the wonderful city of Austin,TX following my relocation from Tulsa, OK.
